Garay Named Wrestling All-American

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College wrestler Antonio Garay received first-team wrestling All-America honors this past weekend after finishing fourth in his weight class (285) at the NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships this past weekend in St. Louis. He also won the award for most falls in the least amount of time (3 in 08:54). Garay had earlier won the ECWA wrestling championship.
Garay, a 6-4 junior from Rahway, N.J., is also a starting defensive lineman for the BC football team. Last season, he played in all 12 games, including five starts, for the 8-4 Eagles.
