CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The men's tennis team was swept by the University of Santa Barbara, 7-0, in a match played on March 9 in Santa Barbara, Calif. The match was the team's third in a series of four matches played in Southern California over Boston College's Spring Break.
First singles player Anand Annigeri dropped his match to 45th-ranked Simon Shen, 6-3, 6-4. Junior Jason Cowett extended the second set to 7-5 before falling 6-2, 7-5 to Marcin Kosakowski.
Boston College also faced the University of San Francisco, Cal Poly and Ventura College on their western swing.
