Chestnut Hill, Mass.--Boston College swept a doubleheader for the second time this season, over the Princeton Tigers, to improve their record to 7-11.
Junior Mary Dietz pitched a six-inninng shutout for the Eagles, giving up only two hits, striking out nine while walking only one. BC smashed 15 hits off the Tigers, with six Eagles having multiple-hit games. Boston College scored all the runs they would need as they scored four in the top of the second to take the early lead. They later scored two in the fourth and blew it open with five in the top of the sixth.

In game two, the Eagles outhit the Tigers ten to three. Junior Cristin Brown (Playa del Rey, CA) went 2-4 with a run scored. RBI hits by Jennifer Murray and Gretchen Thompson gave BC all the runs they would need. Boston College went 4-2 for the week of April 4. In the six games, the Eagles had 10 hits or more in three of them.
The Eagles will finally get a chance to play at home when they host Rhode Island on April 6. Game one starts at 3:00.
