Baseball Splits Doubleheder With Pittsburgh

Boston College scored three runs in the tenth inning -- two on a single by senior Mike Gambino -- to capture a 9-6 win in the second game of a doubleheader against Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Penn.
The Panthers defeated the Eagles, 8-5, in the opening game of the doubleheader.
The Eagles were led by junior Stephen Langone who went 3-for-9 with two home runs in the two games. He scored three runs and had two RBIs.
Langone also pitched the final two innings in the win. Junior Andy Sullivan pitched eight strong innings befor being relieved by Langone.
Boston College is 17-17 on the season and 5-11 in BIG EAST action. The Eagles and the Panthers will complete their three-game series on Sunday, April 25. The game will start at Noon.
