Angie Graham Qualifies for NCAA Cross Country Championships

Boston College senior Angie Graham (Pickering, Ontario) qualified for her fourth NCAA Cross Country Championships. The race will be held on November 23 in Lawrence, Kan.

Graham secured her place in the meet when she finished third at the NCAA District 1 Qualifying meet on November 14 in Van Cortland Park, NY.

Last year, Graham earned All-America honors at the National Championship race, finishing third in a field of 180 runners (16:47) at the national championship race. She led the Boston College to a ninth-place team finish in 1997, the best placing in school history.

Graham won the Murray Keating Invitational held at Orono, Maine on October 10. She also placed second at the BIG EAST Championships on October 30 held at Franklin Park in Boston.
