CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College dropped the final game of its season Tuesday night falling to BIG EAST regular season titlist Rutgers 1-0.
The Scarlet Knights scored 76 minutes into the match as Mike Walsh converted a feed from Guy Abrahamson and Brian Piesner to give the Knights a 1-0 lead.
Junior goalkeeper Chris Hamblin made five saves in the loss as the Eagles were outshot 15-5.
Boston College finishes the season with a 6-9-2 overall mark and 2-9-0 BIG EAST record.
