Chamberlin Receives Weekly Honor

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College linebacker Frank Chamberlin has been selected the Bronko Nagurski National Defensive Player of the Week by the Charlotte Touchdown club for the week ending October 30.
Chamberlin, a senior from Mahwah, N.J., led the Eagles to a 24-23 victory over Syracuse with a career-high 25 tackles, 15 solos, 3 TFLs, 1.5 sacks and a 26-yard interception return. Earlier in the week, he was named USA Today's College Football Player of the Week and BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week.
This year's previous winners of the Nagurski Player of the Week honor include Zeke Moreno of Southern California, Brian Urlacher of New Mexico, Kevin Curtis of Texas Tech and Adalius Thomas of Southern Miss.
