CHESTNUT HILL - Freshman guard Troy Bell scored 20 points and sophomore forward Brian Ross netted 15 points to lead Boston College to an 87-86 overtime victory over the Upstate New York All-Stars in an exhibition game in Conte Forum.
Joining Bell and Ross in double figures for the Eagles were junior guard Xavier Singletary (13 points), sophomore swingman Kenny Walls (12) and junior forward Jonathan Beerbohm (10).

In overtime, Walls and Ross each hit a three-pointer to give the Eagles an 85-79 advantage with 2:16 remaining. The visitors answered with two field goals to close to within two points, before Bell sank two free throws with 1:02 left. A Brian Thompson three-pointer with 50 seconds to play trimmed the BC lead to one point, but the Eagles? defense thwarted the visitors? last-second attempt to win the game.
