• Brian White is in his 33rd year coaching and his fifth at Boston College.
• Enters his fourth season as the running backs coach at BC after mentoring the wide receivers in his first year at The Heights.
• Oversaw the development of BC's first running back to rush for 1,000 yards in each of his first two seasons in All-ACC first-team selection AJ Dillon.
• Part of an offensive staff that finished as the sixth-highest scoring offense in BC history (120 seasons) at 32.0 points per game in 2018.
• BC opened the 2018 season with 40+ points in its first three games, the first time in 120 seasons of football at the Heights the Eagles scored 40+ in the first three games.
• Boston College had the seventh-most improved scoring offense among Power 5 teams nationally in 2017.
• In 2017, Coached the ACC Rookie of the Year AJ Dillon, the nation’s second-leading rusher among freshmen and the country’s No. 7 overall rusher with 1,589 yards and 14 touchdowns.
• Dillon was BC’s first ACC Rookie of the Year. He had 1,099 rushing yards over the last six regular season games, the most of any player in the country.
• Dillon’s 1,589 rushing yards are the second-most by any ACC freshman in conference history.
• Dillon tied for the most All-ACC votes with reigning Heisman Trophy winner Lamar Jackson. Dillon had four games of 190+ yards of rushing in 2017.
• The 2004 winner of the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division I Assistant Coach of the Year, while the offensive coordinator at Wisconsin.
• Coached in 19 bowl games and served on coaching staffs that have won a national title and two league championships.
• In 2013-14, the Florida rushing unit averaged 5.1 yards per carry and scored a total of 36 touchdowns on the ground.
• In 2012, led a rushing attack at Florida that ranked third in the SEC (188 yards/game).
• The same season, coached Mike Gillislee to the first 1,000-yard season at UF since 2004 and just the 10th all-time. Gillislee earned first team All-SEC honors in his only year as a starting tailback.
• Served as Florida’s interim offensive coordinator during the victory over Ohio State in the 2012 Gator Bowl.
• During his 11-year tenure at Wisconsin, coached 1999 Heisman Trophy winner Ron Dayne, 2001 NFL first-round draft choice Michael Bennett and 2001 Big Ten Freshman of the Year Anthony Davis.
• During each of his first eight years, White helped the Badgers produce a 1,000-yard rusher.
• In 2001, Davis ranked fifth in the nation in rushing and wide receiver Lee Evans set the Big Ten record for single-season receiving yards.
• In 2000, Bennett was the nation’s third-leading rusher and had a school-record six 200-yard passing games.
• Served as the running backs coach during the Badgers’ 1998 Big Ten championship season and was the offensive coordinator the next year when UW repeated as league champions.
• The passing game coordinator and wide receivers coach for UNLV in 1994 when the Rebels ranked 14th in the nation in passing offense (265 yards/game).
• In 1993, during his stint at Nevada, the Wolf Pack led the nation in total offense (582.7 yards/game) and passing offense (401 yards/game).
• A graduate assistant for the 1988 Notre Dame team that won the National Championship.
