Joe Sullivan is in his third year as a creative graphic designer and fourth year overall for Boston College athletics. In his role, he oversees the women’s basketball social media accounts and creates live in-game content across various sports creating a visual branding identity for social media and marketing usage.
In addition to his current work at Boston College, he serves as a live content creator for Major League Baseball capturing in-game content.
Prior to coming back to the Heights in 2022, Sullivan worked in Major League Baseball as a social media assistant with the Baltimore Orioles during the 2022 season. He also worked as a social media content assistant for the Worcester Red Sox in 2023. In both of these roles, he was responsible for creating live in-game content, enhancing brand identity and implementing various social media strategies.
Before heading to MLB, Sullivan worked for Lasell University athletics as a social media manager and graphic designer, and the Bourne Braves of the Cape Cod Baseball League as a social media director.
During the 2021-22 academic year, Sullivan was a communications assistant and content creator for Boston College, serving as primary contact for softball.
Sullivan earned a bachelor’s degree in sport management and his master’s in communications and integrated marketing, both from Lasell University. During his time there, he was a five-year member of the baseball team.
