Carson Brown is in his fifth season as associate director of campus recreation facilities & operations and his ninth season at Boston College.
Brown supervises facilities management, risk management, member services, technology, budgets and scheduling. He also acts as the liaison between maintenance, university facilities, varsity athletics, and other university personnel, supporting campus recreation.
Prior to this role, Brown served as the associate director of athletic facilities and operations for four years at Boston College overseeing all maintenance and scheduling of Conte Forum, serving as event manager for ACC and Hockey East contests.
Before coming to the Heights, Brown was assistant athletic director of events & facilities for five years at the University of San Francisco athletic department, acting as liaison between the athletic department and campus groups. In 2012, Brown earned Athletic Director’s Award for “High Character” in the athletic department.
Before heading to San Francisco, Brown was a sports specialist and customer service representative for US Sports Camps, Inc. He assisted in marketing and organizing Nike Junior Golf Camps across the nation. He also worked as events management assistant for the University of California Berkeley athletic department, and the event manager of game operations at Stanford University.
Brown graduated from Boston College in 2007 with bachelor’s degrees in human development and history. He went on to graduate from the University of San Francisco in 2008 with a master’s degree in sport management.
