A highly decorated graduate of St. Lucy's Priory High School in Glendora, Calif. ...six-time Sierra League champion...a San Gabriel Valley Tribune All-Area First Team selection for cross country from 2008-10...also a San Gabriel Valley Tribune All-Area First Team selection in track for sophomore, junior and senior seasons...qualified for the DIII California State Cross Country Championships as an individual in 2007, taking 17th as a freshman, before leading the team to a sixth place finish in 2008...reached the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Finals in the 800-meter run in 2009 (2:18.9), 2010 (2:16.24) and 2011 (2:18.0)...won three consecutive Sierra League half mile titles from 2008-10...crowned the Sierra League champion in the 1600-meter in 2008 and 2009, as well as the 3200-meter in '08...three-year captain of the cross country and track teams...named St. Lucy's MVP three times in cross country and twice in track...earned Scholar-Athlete of the Year at St.Lucy's as a senior...an eight-time All-Sierra League Academic Athlete Award recipient...garnished with the 2009 XC Ed Fuerte Spirit and 2010 T&F St. Lucy's Regent's Awards for work ethic, team dedication, academic achievement, inspiration and leadership qualities...bestowed the 2011 Farmers Fox Sports West Prime Ticket Student-Athlete Citizen Award...a top three finalist for the KIWIN'S Regional Member of the Year in the California/Nevada/Hawaii district of Key Club International's 34th Annual Convention for the 2010 Jackie Bristow Memorial 5K Project.
