Bio
AS A JUNIOR (2016-2017)
Began the outdoor season at the 2017 Colonial Relays, taking sixth place in the 400 hurdles. Won back-to-back 400 races in April with finishes of 1:02.50 and 1:03.51 at meets in UMass and Brown. Took second place at the Larry Ellis Invitational in the 400 hurdles and earned first place at the Stonehill Skyhawk Invite in the same event. Raced the 100 hurdles and 400 hurdles at the ACC Championships, finishing with times of 14.99 and 1:00.68, respectively.
Opened the indoor season at the Boston University Season Opener, where she finished in fourth place in the 500. Raced in the 60 meter hurdles at the ACC Championships. Member of the 4x4 relay team that qualified for the IC4A/ECAC Track and Field Championships.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2015-2016)
Began the indoor season at the Boston University Opener, finishing fourth in the 500 at 1:15.35. Competed in the pentathlon at the ACC Championships, finishing in the top 20 in all five events, including a third place finish in the 800. She took 19th place overall in the pentathlon with 2,889 points. Qualified for the IC4A/ECAC Indoor Track and Field Championships, where she was a member of the distance medley relay team and 4x4 relay, both of which finished in the top 10 at the meet. Barron also raced individually in the 500, earning 11th place overall with a time of 1:15.28.
Opened the outdoor season at the Raleigh Relays, where she was a member of the sprint medley relay team that took third place. Took first place in the 400 hurdles with a time of 1:01.94 at the Stonehill Skyhawk Invite. Concluded the season at the ACC Championships, where she raced the 100 hurdles and 400 hurdles.
AS A FRESHMAN (2014-2015)
Competed in the 60 meter hurdles and 500 at the Boston University Multi-Team meet on Jan. 22, finishing in second and third respectively. Raced the 60 meter hurdles at the ACC Indoor Track and Field Championships, crossing the line in 9.32 seconds.
Opened the outdoor season at the UMass Women’s Minuteman Track Meet, where she raced the 100 hurdles and 400 hurdles, taking sixth and fourth place respectively. Finished in first place overall in the 400 hurdles with a time of 1:04.27 at the Stonehill Skyhawk Invite. Raced in the 100 hurdles and 400 hurdles at the NEICAAA Track and Field Championships, taking sixth place in the 400 hurdles. Competed in the 400 hurdles at the ACC Championships, finishing with a time of 1:03.18.

PERSONAL Daughter of Michael and Colleen Barron...has one sister, Emily...enrolled in the College of Arts & Sciences ... recipient of the Paul G. Crotty '33 Memorial Scholarship Fund.
