Began rowing in seventh grade, spending eight seasons rowing for the Yarmouth Rowing Club in Yarmouth, Maine on the varsity level.

Is the daughter of Alan and Holly MacEwan … has two older siblings: Ellie and Graham, both who attended Boston College … Graduated high school Cum Laude … Was a member of the National Honor Society for three years, the Community Service Club for four years and was the secretary of the Civics club … Enrolled in the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences.
