AS A SENIOR (2020-21)
Team captain … played in 19 of BC’s 20 contests … recorded two points on one goal and one assist … finished with 32 blocked shots, good for second on the team, ninth overall in Hockey East, first among Hockey East forwards and fourth overall in the nation among forwards … scored against Providence (Nov. 27) … tallied an assist against Holy Cross (Jan. 15) … fired 28 shots on goal … blocked multiple shots in eight contests and twice blocked five shots, doing it against Providence (Nov. 28) and Ohio State (March 16) … finished her Eagles’ career with 38 points on eight goals and 30 assists and 119 blocked shots … skated in 133 of 134 of BC’s games over her four years.
AS A JUNIOR (2019-20)

Skated in all 39 games … recorded one goal and seven assists for eight points … scored her first career game-winning goal against BU (Nov. 19) … picked up two assists in BC’s win over Providence (Jan. 25), marking her second career multi-point game … had single assists in wins over Northeastern (Jan. 12), New Hampshire (Feb. 8), at Vermont (Jan. 19) and in a tie at New Hampshire (Feb. 23) … assisted on the game-winning goal in BC’s regular season home finale victory over Maine (Feb. 15) … recorded 30 shots on goal, including a season-high of four in an Eagles’ win at Holy Cross (Oct. 26) … recorded a plus/minus rating of +8 and blocked 15 shots on the year ... took part in the Hockey Canada National Women's Development Team camp in August.
AS A FRESHMAN (2017-18)
Skated in all 38 games … recorded 15 points from two goals and 13 assists … was a +8 on the season and added 25 bocks … recorded 10 minor penalties … scored her first career goal in the season opener against No. 4 Minnesota Duluth (Oct. 5) … had a three-game point streak from Oct. 29 against Maine through Nov. 4 at Syracuse, collecting one goal (vs. Maine) and adding two assists in that span … had a career-high three assists against Harvard (Jan. 16) … added a single assist the next game against Vermont (Jan. 19) and then provided two key screens in front on both BC goals in the 2-1, come-from-behind win over Vermont (Jan. 20), earning Hockey East Rookie of the Week honors (Jan. 22) … also registered single assists at Boston University (Dec. 2), vs. Merrimack (Dec. 8), at Merrimack (Jan. 2), at New Hampshire (Jan. 7), vs. No. 10 Providence (Jan. 26) and against Vermont (Feb. 23) in the Hockey East Quarterfinals … spent the majority of the season on the first line, starting the first five games of the season at center before shifting to right wing for final 22 games of the season … played the other 11 games on the third line: three at center and eight at right wing.
BEFORE BC
A member of Canada’s U18 team at the 2017 IIHF Women’s Under-18 World Championships … helped lead the team to a silver medal at the event … skated in all five games at the tournament, collecting two points (one goal, one assist) … assistant captain at North American Hockey Academy (NAHA) in 2016-17 and was voted player of the year at NAHA the last two seasons … played three seasons at NAHA, including two with the Major Junior (White) team …as a senior, played in 55 games, collecting 31 points (16 goals, 15 assists), including five power-play goals and one shorthanded strike … helped lead the Hawks to the 2017 JWHL Championship … as a junior, notched 42 points (18 goals, 24 assists) in 64 games and was voted player of the year … split her sophomore season between NAHA’s U16 Red team and its U19 White squad … first selected to Team BC at the 2015 Canada Winter Games and then played in two Under-18 Canada Women’s National Championships with Team BC (2015, 2016), serving as an assistant captain in 2016 … helped lead Team BC to the bronze medal at the 2016 event, its first medal in more than 10 years … scored two goals in five games at the 2016 tournament … participated in Canada’s 2016 Under-18 development camp in 2016 … before attending NAHA, played with North Shore Avalanche in Vancouver, where she captained the team and helped the program win the league and postseason championships while leading the team in scoring in 2013-14.

Maegan is the daughter of Cathy Yohimas and Randy Beres … she has an older sister, Ali … her father was a goaltender at the University of British Columbia … has earned numerous academic and community service awards from Collingwood School … before playing with NAHA, also was a member of Collingwood’s triathlon, badminton, rowing and basketball teams … enrolled in the Carroll School of Management ... recipient of the David J.
