Head women's basketball coach Joanna Bernabei-McNamee announced the hiring of Chris Meadows Sr. on June 6, 2022.Â
Meadows is entering his third season with the Eagles. The development of Todd continues to show as she increased her scoring to 11.8 points per game and led the team with 48 3-pointers. Todd was in the top 100 shooting 35.8 percent from deep and scored a career-high 24 points in the ACC Tournament against Clemson. She averaged averaged 18 points on 50 percent from the field in the ACC Tournament.
Meadows was named one of the 50 most impactful assistant coaches in the country by Silver Waves Media.Â
In his first season on the Heights, the Eagles earned their first top-10 win since 2010 with a road victory over then-No. 9/10 NC State.Â
With the help of Meadows, T'Yana Todd averaged 10.0 points and 2.5 rebounds and scored in double figures in 12 contests. She  averaged 13 points over a four-game stretch and totaled 14 points on 5-of-7 shooting against NCAA Elite Eight participant, Miami (3/2) in the second round of the ACC Tournament.
Taina Mair made the ACC All-Freshman team after leading the league and setting the freshman single season mark with 217 assists. Mair led the ACC in assists, second in minutes per game and sixth in steals and led all freshmen in the league in double-doubles, assists, steals, minutes per game and second in scoring.Â

Through his experience as an elite skill developer, he has built meaningful relationships with players and coaches throughout the country. Meadows brings over 30 years of coaching experience as an assistant and head basketball coach at the high school and AAU levels. He is also widely known as one of the elite player development coaches globally, working with multiple Division I programs and NBA teams. Meadows helped with two previous ACC Rookie of the Year winners, including the 2019 honoree, Elizabeth Belogun.Â

In addition, Meadows was a program director for FBC Carolinas from 2018-2021 and the director for ASGR Carolina Elite from 2017-19.Â
"With the winning culture, energy and mindset coach Bernabei-McNamee has brought to the program, Boston College women's basketball is on the rise to national prominence," stated Meadows.
The newly-hired assistant founded Momentum Skills Academy in 2009 and worked there until 2020, while he was the head varsity girl's coach at Rocky River High School during the 2016-17 season and was the head coach for Central Cabarrus High School from 2009-11.Â
Meadows holds a degree in education from St. Bonaventure, while he played for the Bonnies from 1990-92. He also earned his master's degree in special education at St. Bonaventure. Meadows and his wife Glinda Meadows have a son and daughter, Chris Jr. and Courtney.
