Showed tremendous improvement, dropping time in all of his events...added several first place finished to his total...Named Outstanding Perforer against BU in the 100 butterfly...selected as a captain of the ACC team...participated in ACC community outreach program...Received the Harold M. Groden MD Award for Outstanding Performance against Fordham University As a Junior (2009-2010):

Attended Middletown High School in Middletown, Connecticut...All-Conference in multiple events in 2005, 2006, and 2007 leading the team to six consecutive conference championships in the Nutmeg League and Northwest Conference....In 2005, 2006, and 2007 he qualified for State Finals and he advanced to State Opens his junior and senior years...Recipient of the Robert Parmelee Most Outstanding Performer Award...CAS-CIAC Scholar-Athlete from his high school as well as his school's Wendy's Heisman Award Recipient...Nick started varsity soccer and received the Sportsmanship Award in 2007...Captain of the intramural water polo team, and participated in varsity track and crew...Spent three years as the Greater Middletown Special Olympics Aquatics head coach. Nicholas has lived in Middletown all his life with his parents Russell and Theresa Dagenais and siblings Alexandra and Matthew...will graduate with a BA in Economics, minors in History, Philosophy and pre-legal studies.
