AS A SENIOR (2011-12)
Spring: Earned All-ACC honors for the third straight year ... also named the ITA Northeast Senior of the Year.... finished the season ranked eighth in the northeast and with partner Alex Skinner, ranked 43rd and first in the northeast ... compiled a 8-9 dual singles record playing every match at the No. 1 position ... tallied an 11-9 doubles record, going 5-4 against ranked opponents ... tallied key singles wins over No. 65 Yannick Madan, 6-4, 7-5, of No. 67 Clemson (3/25) and Gabriel Flores, 6-4, 6-4, of No. 68 Miami (3/30) ... ranked as high as 38th in the nation Skinner, going 9-9, with a four-match win streak in March, defeating three ranked opponents, including seventh-ranked Drew Courtney and Jarmere Jenkins of Virginia (3/17) ... also tallied two wins with junior Billy Grokenberger ... recipient of the Athletics Director's Award for Academic Achievement.
Fall:Went 8-3 in doubles action with partner Billy Grokenberger in tournament play ... the pair advanced to the semifinals at the USTA Billie Jean King NTC Men's College Invitational (9/23-9/25), winning first two matches ... they also went 2-0 at the Brown Classic (9/30-10/1) ... represented BC at the ITA All-American Championships, falling after earning a bye and retiring in the consolation round (6-4, 5-7, 5-5 ret.) ... went 2-1 in singles and doubles play at the 2011 USTA/ITA Northeast Regional (10/13-15) ... won flight at the Crimson Tide Invitational (10/28-30), going 5-0.
AS A JUNIOR (2010-11)
Spring: Earned All-ACC accolades ... played all 22 singles matches at No. 1, compiling a 10-12 mark ... went 3-8 against ranked opponents, upsetting No. 91 Jonathan Wolff (Wake Forest), 7-5, 6-2, No. 106 Maros Horny (Maryland), 6-2, 6-5, and No. 114 Jamie Pulgar (NC State) , 6-2, 2-6, 7-6 ... played all 24 doubles matches with Grokenberger, accumulating a 11-14 record at the No. 1 doubles spot ... recipient of the Athletics Director's Award for Academic Achievement ... named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll and the All-ACC Academic Team.
Fall:The first Eagle to compete in the main draw of the prestigious D'Novo ITA Men's All-American Championship ... went 5-4 overall, with a 1-3 mark against ITA ranked opponents ... reached finals of the Crimson Tide Fall Championship (11-5/7).
AS A SOPHOMORE (2009-10)
Spring: First Eagle to be named to the All-ACC team ... named the 2010 ITA Northeast Region Player to Watch for the 2011 season ... played in 24 singles matches, mostly in the No. 2 spot, finishing a team-best 19-5 overall with a 7-4 record in ACC play ... ranked in the top 100 in the nation for most of the season ... defeated four players with a national ranking of 75th or higher ... appeared in most doubles matches at the No. 3 spot with partner Adam Davison, going 8-7 ... recipient of the Athletics Director's Award for Academic Achievement ... named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll and the All-ACC Academic Team.
Fall:Went 2-1 in the singles A draw at the ITA/USTA Open, falling to the third seed ... took the championship with partner Jonathan Schroeder as the second-ranked team in the flight, defeating the top-ranked pair in the finals ... Compiled a 2-1 record in both singles and doubles action at the Brown Invitational.
AS A FRESHMAN (2008-09)
Spring: ITA Northeast Region Freshman of the Year .... played in 25 singles matches as a rookie, posting a team-best 15-10 record, mostly in the No. 2 spot (10-9) ... put together impressive singles wins against tough ACC opponents in NC State (3/20) and Clemson (4/3) ... appeared in 25 doubles matches, compiling a 15-10 record that with three different partners ... recipient of the Athletics Director's Award for Academic Achievement ... named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll and All-ACC Academic Team.
Fall:Went 1-1 at the ITA/USTA Nationals in doubles action with Brian Locklear ... earned a win and a loss as an individual in the same tournament ... compiled a 3-1 record, falling in the finals of the Seahawk Invitational in Wilmington, N.C.
BEFORE BC
Number one player on Trumbull High School team ... three-time all-conference selection ... earned all-state recognition as a senior in 2008 ... ranked 85th nationally for USTA Boys U-18 and in the top 10 for USTA New England ... named Connecticut Post All-Star MVP as a senior.
