Matt Hill

Matt Hill enters his second season as an assistant coach on the men’s soccer staff.
Hill graduated from Xavier in 2015 where he played on the soccer team for four seasons. As a senior, he started all 23 games for the Musketeers and anchored the defense that broke school records with 11 shutouts and a 0.84 goals against average.
Xavier advanced to three NCAA Tournaments in his time there and advanced to the round of 16 when he was a senior. The Musketeers won the 2011 Atlantic 10 Championship and were the Big East runner-up in 2014.
Hill was also successful in the classroom as he was named to the 2014 Capital One Academic All-District First Team. He was also a two-time member of the Big East All-Academic Team as a junior and senior.
Hill is currently pursuing his Masters of Science in accounting from the Carroll School of Management.
