Jason Stanton

Jason Stanton joined Boston College in the Fall of 2021 and currently serves as the Volunteer Goalkeeper Coach.
Jason is currently employed by Juventus Academy Boston (JAB) and Intercontinental Football Academy (IFA) of New England, serving as the North Region Goalkeeping Director and MLS Next Goalkeeper Coach respectively, and has been with both organizations since February 2021.
Prior to his time at JAB and IFA, Jason worked for Global Premier Soccer (GPS) MA as the Metro Boston Regional Director from March 2019 to June 2020.
Stanton holds two degrees from the University of Pretoria that he obtained from 2012-15; BA Human Movement Sciences & BA (Hons) in Sport and Leisure Studies Option: Sport and Recreation Management. During his time at UP he was also part of the men's soccer team that won several titles during his four years at the school.
Following his studies, Jason took some time away from soccer and worked in the Events Industry in South Africa and Dubai prior to his immigration to Boston.
Jason currently holds several coaching qualifications from the USSF (D-License), the Scottish FA (GK Coaching Award 1.3 & Youth/Adult Coaching Certificate 1.2) and the Goalkeeping Level 1 Diploma from United Soccer Coaches.
Born and Raised in Pretoria, South Africa, Jason now resides in Charlestown with his wife Jessica and their dog Margo.
