Peter Powers joins the Boston College men’s and women’s golf programs for his second stint as an assistant coach.
Powers served as an assistant coach with the Eagles’ golf teams from 2004-08. In this role, Powers helped to lead the recruitment efforts of student-athletes for both golf teams at Boston College. Powers also coached, taught, and assisted in the development of BC’s golfers.
Prior to his arrival at the Heights, Powers also worked as a PGA golf professional at some of the most prestigious courses in the country - Oyster Harbors Club in Osterville, Mass., The Bear’s Club in Jupiter, Fla., and Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio.
A 1991 graduate of Denison University, Powers earned his masters in education from Boston College’s Lynch School of Education in 2003.
