• Alex Kurtz is in his fourth season working with the Boston College football staff and his second as an offensive graduate assistant. He served as a volunteer in 2014, working with the offense and special teams.
• Kurtz arrived at The Heights from Staples High School in Westport, Conn., where he was a member of the football coaching staff for two years and had also taught social studies.
• He graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2011 with a degree in history and political science. While in Nashville, Kurtz was a student manager for the football team. He is currently working toward his master’s degree in sports administration in Boston College’s Woods College of Advancing Studies.
• A native of Westport, Conn., Kurtz currently resides in Brighton, Mass.
