Competed for the Eagles in sabre in the season-opening meet at St. John’s, going 1-5 … had a 3-0 record in BC’s home meet against Sacred Heart … earned a silver medal at the ACC Championships after going 6-5 with a plus-7 touch differential to advance out of the pool before falling in the finals … also competed for BC in the team competition at ACCs.
BEFORE BC
Fenced at the Kaprica United Fencing Academy under Stephen Kovacs since 2018 … sixth in Div1A at 2019 Summer Nationals, 24th in Juniors at 2018 Summer Nationals, 29th in Div1A at 2018 Summer Nationals … also a member of the varsity fencing team at school and was a two-year captain and three-year MVP … went 6-0 as a senior, 14-0 as a junior and 17-2 as a sophomore … was named to the All-State first team in 2018 and 2020 and to the second team in 2017-18 … sabre squad won districts and was third at states in 2020 … also won districts in 2018 … All-American First Team (2017-2018, 2020) and All-Academic First Team (2017-2020).
