Captained the Bishop Moore Catholic baseball team as a senior, leading the Hornets to the state semifinals in 2016 for head coach Tony Mehlich … pitched a complete game to reach the semis, allowing just two runs in the first and combined to allow just one hit through seven innings in the 1-0 loss in the Class 5A semifinal game … named team MVP … tallied 113 strikeouts in final two seasons over 85 innings … recorded a 1.87 ERA as a senior … also earned All-Tournament Team honors at the Perfect Game USA Underclass World Championships in Ft. Myers, Fla. … lettered in football as well … member of National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society.
