- Joined the basketball team during the offseason after playing four years of baseball for the Eagles. AT BOSTON COLLEGE
- Was a four-year lettermen for the baseball Eagles; served as team captain in 2010.
- Saw limited action in his freshman campaign, before making 20 or more mound appearances in each of his last three seasons
- Helped the Eagles gain a berth in the 2009 NCAA Tournament, the program's first postseason bid in 42 years .
- Among his career highlights were a win against Texas State in the Austin Regional and 3.1 innings of scoreless relief against Texas in the longest game in NCAA history. HIGH SCHOOL
