Ran a 17:30 in the 5000m Cascade Conference Preview which was good enough for fourth place...Came in 21st place with a time of 21:25 in the 6000m Sundodger Invitational.
BEFORE BC
Was the Oregon 6A state champion in the 3000m as a senior, and placed 2nd in the 1500m ... runner-up at the state cross country meet as a senior, and was 5th her junior year ... first team All-State in cross country and track in her final season ... cross country team captured Oregon state title every year she was on the team ... Jesuit won state track title her senior year ... won the 2007 Adidas Classic cross country run ... won the Oregon School Activity Association Award for Senior Sportsmanship and Integrity in 2008 ... named the 2007 Nike Prefontaine Prep Long Distance Runner of the Year ... a three-time participant in the Nike Team Nationals.
