Palmer records personal best in the 800m

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College Women's Track and Field was in full swing Friday, tackling three meets across the country.

Sean Collier Invitational

Kayla Schramm clocked a 4:48.85 in the 1500m for a top-20 finish.

Tom Jones Memorial

Anna Sonsini competed in the 200m Open, finishing 50th in 24.49.

Bryan Clay Invitational

Kyla Palmer ran a personal best in the 800m with a time of 2:10.73, finishing 31st.
In the 800m Invite, Iris Bergman ran a 2:07.84 for a top-75 finish.
Running unattached, Kyra Holland ran a personal best time of 15:53.05 to finish second in her heat of the 5000m. Holland's time ranks fourth all time in program history.

Next Up: The Eagles continue action at the Tom Jones Memorial and MIT Sean Collier Invitational tomorrow afternoon.
