Eagles Finish First Day at Maridoe Invitational

Markus Lam sits at 1-under par, battles for the lead
CARROLLTON, TX – Boston College Men's Golf competed in the first two rounds of the Maridoe Invitational on Monday. The Eagles currently sit at 50-over par, good for 13th place.

Junior Markus Lam leads the team, currently tied for fourth, after shooting a 70 in the opening round, finishing the first day at 1-under par. He shot a total of six birdies across both rounds, leading all players in the BC lineup.

Next is freshman Tony Yin, who shot a 75 and 83 in rounds one and two, putting him at 14-over for a tie in 57th place. Senior Jack Pogorelc is right behind at 15-over par, recording four birdies on the day.

Closing out the crew are sophomore Tommy Mangan (+22) and freshman Connor Chisum (+41).
The Eagles will conclude the tournament tomorrow morning.
