Conner’s Two Goals Lift Eagles Past UNH, 5–2

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — Emma Conner scored twice and added an assist as Boston College women's hockey defeated New Hampshire 5–2 on Thursday afternoon at Kelley Rink.
Boston College (15-17-1) scored twice in the first period and never trailed, finishing with a 51–27 advantage in shots.
Olivia Maffeo opened the scoring at 13:36 of the first period on an even-strength goal assisted by Emma Conner and Lauren Glaser. Conner made it 2–0 at 16:28, converting a pass from Maxim Tremblay. New Hampshire cut the deficit to 2–1 with a power-play goal late in the opening period.
The Eagles extended the lead in the second when Sammy Taber scored on the power play at 10:32, assisted by Maffeo and Ava Thomas.
After UNH pulled within one early in the third period, Conner responded with her second goal of the game at 14:12, finishing assists from Alaina Dunn and Tremblay. Glaser added an empty-net goal at 16:16 to seal the win.
Grace Campbell made 25 saves for Boston College, which also won the faceoff battle 32–27. Tremblay recorded three assists in the victory.
