Men's Tennis Sweeps Bentley 7-0

WEYMOUTH, Mass. – The Boston College men's tennis team (3-2) swept Bentley (4-3), 7-0, Tuesday afternoon at the Weymouth Club.
The Eagles claimed the doubles point with a clean sweep to open the match. The duo of Liam O'Leary and Matvey Greschner set the tone at No. 1 with a 6-1 win. Aidan Pack and Matthew Overvelde followed with a 6-3 win at No. 2, while Luke Levanat and Lukas Rais secured the point with a 6-3 victory at No. 3.
Boston College carried that momentum into singles play, winning all six matches in straight sets.
Greschner controlled the No. 2 match with a 6-1, 6-2 decision, and Overvelde posted a 6-1, 6-1 victory at No. 3. Pack added a 6-0, 6-3 win at No. 4, while Luc Piacentini went 6-2, 6-2 at No. 5 singles. Liam O'Leary recorded a win in straight sets going 6-4, 6-2 at No. 6. At the top spot, Mai Gao earned a 6-2, 6-3 to close the sweep.
