The Victory Marks the Eagles Fourth Straight Win
WEYMOUTH, Mass. – The Boston College women's tennis team (6-1) defeated Boston University (3-4), 4-2 Friday afternoon at the Weymouth Club.
The Eagles jumped out to an early lead by securing the doubles point. The No. 1 duo of Seren Agar and Natalie Eordekian opened scoring with a dominant 6-1 victory, followed by a 6-4 win at No. 2 doubles from Olivia Benton and Leyden Games.
Boston College carried that momentum into singles play. Playing at No. 1 singles, Benton earned a straight-set victory, 6-3, 6-2. Tola Glowacka, Nadia Barteck and Leyden Games each battled through three-set matches to secure crucial points for the Eagles. Barteck rallied for a 6-4, 2-6, 6-4 victory at No. 6, while Glowacka secured the match for the Eagles with a 1-6, 6-2, 7-5 win at No. 4 singles.
The Eagles improved to 6-1 on the season with the win, marking their fourth straight victory.
