Women's Tennis Drops 4-3 to Brown

The Eagles secured the doubles point, but the Bears claimed four singles victories to secure the win
WEYMOUTH, Mass. – The Boston College women's tennis team (6-2) dropped a hard-fought 4-3 decision to Brown University (6-2) Sunday afternoon at the Weymouth Club.
Boston College came out strong in doubles play as the No. 1 duo of Seren Agar and Natalie Eordekian earned a 6-4 victory. At No. 2, Olivia Benton and Leyden Games followed with a 7-5 win against the Bears, clinching the doubles point for the Eagles. The No. 3 match of Tola Glowacka and Bella Camacho defeated the Bears 7-6.
In singles competition, Benton delivered a 7-5, 6-2 win at the No. 1 position over Shen, while Eordekian added another point for the Eagles with a 7-6, 6-3 victory at No. 3 singles.
Brown answered with wins at No. 2, 4, 5 and 6. The most tightly contested matches came at No. 2 and No. 6, both going to third-set tiebreakers. Ali Maguy outlasted Agar 2-6, 6-2, 7-6 at No. 2, and Sari Woo edged Nadia Barteck 6-7, 7-5, 7-6 at No. 6 to secure the match for the Bears.
