Men's Tennis Falls to BYU

WEYMOUTH, Mass. – The Boston College men's tennis team (2-2) fell 5-2 to BYU (8-0) Friday evening at the Weymouth Club.

The Eagles came out strong in doubles play, sweeping all three courts to secure the doubles point.
At No. 1 doubles, the duo of Liam O'Leary and Matvey Greschner battled to a 7-6 victory over Adam Chodur and Otto Schreiner. Aidan Pack and Matthew Overvelde followed with a 6-3 win at No. 2, while Luke Levanat and Matthew Carioscia closed out doubles action with a 6-4 triumph at No. 3 doubles.
Boston College picked up a point at No. 6, where Luke Levanat earned a 7-6, 6-4 victory over Redd Owen. In singles competition, BYU responded by taking five of six matches to clinch the team victory.Â
