BC looks to continue success at BU after strong start

BOSTON, Mass. – Boston College Women's Track and Field is prepped for the Bruce Lehane Scarlet & White Invitational at the BU Track & Tennis Center on Saturday, January 24. The event will be available on FloTrack.

The Eagles are coming off their first meet of the calendar year, recording nine top ten marks Harvard Beantown Challenge. Anna Sonsini highlighted the opening events of the meet, breaking her school record in the 60m with a time of 7.53. Sydney Segalla also highlighted the meet, setting a new school record in the 500m after running a 1:11.31, her second of the indoor season. Other program bests includes three top ten times in the 60m, top five marks from Kyra Holland (4^th, 1:34.63) and Claire Crowley (5^th, 1:36.98) in the 600m, and Hanna Hollins (8^th, 2:48.99) in the 1000m and Kyla Palmer (9^th, 1:14.51) in the 500m.

Following this weekend, the team is set to compete in the John Thomas Terrier Classic at the BU Track & Tennis Center on Saturday, January 31.
