
Women’s Hockey Drops Contest to No. 3 Minnesota on the Road

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The No. 3 Minnesota Gophers skated to an 11-0 win over the Boston College women's hockey team on Friday night at Ridder Arena.
The Gophers jumped to a 1-0 lead midway through the first period. Both teams had opportunities to score, but neither found the net, leaving Minnesota ahead 1-0 at the end of the first intermission. In the second period, the Gophers scored four additional goals and in the final frame, they tacked on six more.
