
Lexi Gifford Joins Softball Staff

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Boston College Softball is proud to announce the addition of Lexi Gifford to its coaching staff as the Director of Operations and Player Development. With over seven years of experience at the travel softball level, Gifford brings a proven track record in player development, leadership, and instructional excellence.
From 2017 to 2025, Gifford served as the Director of Instruction at Frozen Ropes Baseball/Softball Facility. Her responsibilities included overseeing all instructional programming, leading private lessons and group classes, and managing day-to-day operations, blending hands-on coaching expertise with strong administrative leadership.
A former Division I athlete at the University of Connecticut, Gifford was a four-year starter at shortstop for the Huskies. Known for her leadership on the field, she led the team in multiple statistical categories throughout her career and still holds the program's all-time record for career assists.
"I'm passionate about the game and committed to fostering both athletic and personal growth in every player. I'm excited to bring my experience and dedication to BC Softball, working to ensure success both on and off the field."
