NEWTON, Mass. – The Boston College women's soccer team (4-2-3, 0-1-0 ACC) fell to Pitt (5-4-2, 1-2-0) in the ACC opener on Thursday evening.
In the first half, Pitt opened the scoring midway through the first period due to a miscommunication among the BC defenders. With 10 minutes left to play in the half, Pitt doubled its lead, leaving the Eagles with a two-goal deficit at halftime.

Reale two shots on goal, which led the team.
The Eagles will continue their conference play at home against Wake Forest on Sunday, Sept. 21.
