Four Eagles Named to IWLCA Academic Honor Roll

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College lacrosse earned the IWLCA Academic Award while four Eagles were named to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll.

It's the 21st consecutive season the Eagles have been named to the Honor Roll. Shea Baker, Rachel Clark, Morgan Smith and Maria Themelis represented the Eagles on the list. It's the first time all four made the list while at Boston College.

BC finished the season at 19-3 while appearing in an eighth straight NCAA Semifinal. A program record 18 Eagles were named to the ACC All-Academic Team and Clark was a third-team Academic All-American.

The IWLCA honored 1,163 student-athletes from 124 different institutions on the 2024-25 IWLCA Division I Academic. To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater. Teams must earn a 3.2 GPA or higher for the Academic Award.
