
Baker and Clark Named CSC Academic All-District

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College lacrosse's Shea Baker and Rachel Clark were named to the CSC All-Academic District Team in the at-large divisions for their success off the field.Â
The duo are named CSC All-Academic District for the first time in their careers and are eligible for Academic All-American status.Â
An Applied Psychology and Human Development major, Clark turned in a stellar senior season with the Eagles. The Devon, Pa. was a consensus First-Team All-American after breaking the single-season program record with 106 goals, while her career-high 128 points were the second most in a single season.
Clark was named ACC Attacker of the Year and a four-time ACC Player of the Week, while she was a Tewaaraton finalist and Honda Award finalist. She finished her career seventh all-time in BC history with 184 goals and 11th with 229 points. Clark finished first among active leaders with 311 goals and third with 380 points.Â
A communications major, Baker established herself as one of the top defenders in the country. The junior was the ACC Defender of the Year and a consensus First-Team All-American, while a Top 25 Tewaaraton finalist.Â
Baker led the team with a personal-high 43 caused turnovers, 37 ground balls, and was second with 99 draw controls. She was the only player in the nation with at least 40 CTs, 35 GBs and 95 DCs. She tied for ninth all-time in a single season in draw controls.Â
Both Eagles were recently named to the U.S. Women's Lacrosse Senior Field Team at the PALA Women's Lacrosse Championship next week.Â
