Sonsini Earns School Record as Track & Field Wraps Regular Season

Eagles compete at three meets over the weekend of May 2-4.
DURHAM, N.C. – Boston College Men's and Women's Track & Field teams earned one school record and nine top-10 performances in school history as they competed in three meets over the weekend of May 2-4.Â
The Eagles took part in the Larry Ellis Invitational on May 2-3 in Princeton, N.J., while also competing in the Jay Carisella Coaches Invitational in Dedham, Mass. on May 3 and the Duke Twilight in Durham, N.C. on May 4.Â

Up next: The Eagles will take a week off before traveling to Winston-Salem, N.C. for the 2025 ACC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, which will be held on May 15-17.

The Eagles took part in the Larry Ellis Invitational on May 2-3 in Princeton, N.J., while also competing in the Jay Carisella Coaches Invitational in Dedham, Mass. on May 3 and the Duke Twilight in Durham, N.C. on May 4.Â

- Colin Shaver moved into No. 6 all-time in school history for the Men's 3000m Steeplechase after he earned a time of 9:02.27 on Friday night. Â
- Patrick Mulryan finished with a time of 1:49.78 in the Men's 800m, which now puts him at No. 6 all-time in school history.Â
- Colin Kravitz competed in the Men's 200m, finishing with a personal-best time of 21.19 and still keeps him at No. 4 all-time in school history.
- Kelsie Vicknair finished second overall in the Women's 10,000m with her time of 38:32.47.
- Kravitz (47.45) and Max McQuide (47.54) finished fourth and fifth overall respectively in the Men's 400m.Â
- Anna Sonsini earned her second school record of the indoor season, as she finished first overall in the Women's 200m with a time of 23.71. Sonsini also earned an ACC qualifying bid after meeting the standard for the Women's 200m.Â
- Anna Becker (24.99) took second place in the Women's 200m.Â
- Aliyah Canty finished first overall in the Women's 400m hurdles and now sits at No. 8 in school history after earning a time of 1:01.51.Â
- Kylee Bernard raced to a time of 55.50 in the Women's 400m, earning first place in the event.Â
- Ava Carter moved into ninth all-time in school history after her performance of 12.27 in the Women's 100m.Â
- Sean Coll improved on his No. 5 all-time spot in school history as he earned a personal-best mark of 55.10m.Â
- Emily Rohan took second place in the Women's Javelin Throw after finishing with a mark of 41.46m.
- Aoife Dunne earned a personal-best time of 2:06.01 in the Women's 800m, and now sits at seventh all-time in school history.Â
- Natalie Millerova improved on her time in the Women's 1500m, and moved herself in eight all-time in school history with her time of 4:18.90.
- Ella Fadil moved into sixth all-time in school history for the Women's 5,000m after earning a time of 16:02.97.
