
Eagles Grab Sixth in Women's Fleet Race National Championship

BC took third in the semifinals before taking sixth of 18 teams in the finals
ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. – Boston College Sailing took sixth place of 18 teams in the 2025 Women's Fleet Race National Championship in St. Mary's City, Maryland this week after four days of sailing.Â
The Eagles sailed two boats this week, an A division boat and a B division boat. Caroline Sibilly served as the skipper for the A division boat, while Kennedy Laureigh, Ainsley West, and Kate Joslin were the crew. Sara Schumann was the skipper for the B division boat, while Lanie Ferrarone and Sophia Hacket served as the crew. The A division boat scored 150 points, while the B division boat scored 127, for a total of 277 points and the sixth place finish.Â
Up next: The Eagles are back in action next week for the Open Fleet Race National Championship, running from Tuesday until Friday.
