Sailing Notches Third Victory of 2025 Season

BC took home first in the Mystic Lake Team Race

BOSTON, Mass. – Boston College Sailing picked up their third victory of the season this past weekend, taking first of 10 teams in the Mystic Lake Team Race, hosted by Tufts University. The Eagles also competed in the Fowle Trophy Race, where they placed fourth of 12 teams, and the Emily Wick Regatta hosted by Connecticut College.

In the Mystic Lake Team Race, the Eagles went a perfect 7-0 as Ian Hopkins Guerra, Ryan McGauley, and Alex Lech served as skippers, while Emily Marlas, Kylie Craig, and Madeline Torrey were the crew. Up in Connecticut, the Eagles snagged 14th place in a packed and competitive field of 17 schools.

In Boston this weekend, BC took fourth place in the Fowle Trophy, going 12-11, with Peter Busch, Michael Kirkman, and Jack Redmond in as skippers, and Sara Schumann, Caroline Sibilly, and Lanie Ferrarone serving as the crew.
