BC returns to action tomorrow at 8 p.m. on the ACC Network
BRIGHTON, Mass. – Boston College Softball (15-16, 3-9 ACC) fell to the University of Connecticut Huskies (19-12, 7-2 Big East) by a score of 6-0 on Tuesday evening at the Harrington Athletics Village.
Both teams were scoreless through two innings, before the Huskies got on the board with a three-run third inning. They followed up in the fourth with another run, and went on to plate one in the top of the fifth, sixth, and seventh inning, to make the final score 7-0.Â
The Eagles recorded five hits, leaving seven runners on base. The hits came from Gator Robinson, Meghan Schouten, Emma Jackson, Jordan Stephens, and Zoe Hines. Kelly Colleran and Gabriella Aughton combined for three strikeouts in the circle, while giving up an earned run each.Â
On deck: BC is back in action tomorrow night at 8 p.m. vs UMass. The game will be streamed live on the ACC Network.
