Jackson Earns Bid to NCAA Indoor Championships

Steven Jackson will represent Boston College at the 2025 NCAA DI Indoor Track & Field Championships in Virginia Bech
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Steven Jackson will represent Boston College at the 2025 NCAA DI Indoor Track & Field Championships as announced by the NCAA on Tuesday night.Â
Steven Jackson will compete in the Men's Mile for the Eagles at the NCAA Championships with his seed time of 3:52.71, which he earned at the Eagle Elite Invitational on Feb. 14 at the TRACK at new balance. Jackson's time of 3:52.71 currently puts him at No. 7 in the country and No. 3 out of all ACC runners. Jackson currently holds the school record, and has been improving on his time ever since he made Boston College history becoming the first ever Eagle to run a sub-4 minute Mile as he crossed the finish line with a time of 3:57.70 during the 2023 indoor season.Â
The graduate student from Reading, Mass. is coming off an ACC Championships performance where he took home the silver medal for the Men's mile, as he earned a time of 4:02.43. Jackson also was named to the All-ACC first team for his top-three finish.Â
The NCAA DI Indoor Track & Field Championships will be held March 14 and 15 at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The Men's mile semifinal will begin at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 14. Jackson will look to earn a bid to the finals on Saturday, March 15 at 6:00 p.m.
The championship meet will be available to stream live on ESPN+ starting at 9:15 a.m. on Friday and starting at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
