Frances Kim leads the way for BC with an opening round 74
GREENSBORO, Ga. -- Boston College sits in fifth place after the opening round of play at the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational.
The Eagles shot an opening day 305 and are six shots back of the leader - No. 26 Florida (299).
Frances Kim carded a 2-over 74 to lead the way on day one for BC. Â She posted a birdie and 12 pars during Friday's round. Â Angel Lin sits in 19th place, with an opening round 76.
Cynthia Zhang opened with a 77, putting her in 27th place, followed by Stephany Kim's 78 - good for 37th place. Â Emily Böhrer is in 57th place (80).
BC plays with Western Carolina and FAU again on Saturday's round, beginning play on the 12th hole in shotgun format.
