Jack Doyle Earns School Record at Day 2 of ACC Championships

Doyle advances to "C" final as BC continues action at ACC Swimming & Diving Championships
GREENSBORO, N.C. – Boston College Swimming & Diving completed day two of the 2025 ACC Championships on Wednesday at the Greensboro Aquatic Center.Â
The Eagles participated in six prelims for individual swimming events, as well as two relay finals and Men's 1m diving competitions. BC had at least one athlete compete in the Men's and Women's 500 yd Freestyle prelims, Men's and Women's 200 yd IM prelims, Men's and Women's 50 yd Freestyle prelims, and the Men's and Women's 200 yd Freestyle relays.Â
Jack Doyle was the lone Eagle to advance to the finals on day two of the ACC Swimming & Diving Championships. Doyle earned a spot in the "C" final for the Men's 200 yd IM after finishing 23rd overall with a time of 1:44.62. Doyle's time broke the school record by just under one second. The senior from Greenville, S.C. finishedÂ
21st overall in the "C" final with his time of 1:44.82.
Angus Williams was the highest scorer for the Eagles in the Men's 1m diving competition, finishing with a final score of 248.90.Â
Finnegan Crawford placed 41st overall in the Men's 500 yd Freestyle prelims with his time of 4:27.13, while Megan Kramer was the highest finisher for BC in the Women's 500 yd Freestyle prelims with a time 4:57.92.Â
Liza Murtagh finished in 56th place in the Women's 200 yd IM prelims with a time of 2:06.02, while Elizabeth Oliphant touched the wall at 23:48 in the Women's 50 yd Freestyle prelims to finish in 66th place. Luke Condon was the highest finisher for the Eagles in the Men's Men's 50 yd Freestyle prelims with his time of 20.45, which was good for 62nd overall.Â
Up Next: Boston College Swimming & Diving will head into day 3 of the ACC Swimming & Diving Championships. Prelims will begin at 9:30 a.m. and finals will start at 5:30 p.m., while fans can stream the meet on ACCNX.
