
Track & Field Earns Four Top-10 Performances in School History

Yasmine Abbes, Molly Hudson, Hanna Hollins, and Abby Loveys put their names in the school’s record book on Saturday at the BU Valentine Invite.
BOSTON, Mass. – The Boston College Track & Field team earned three top-10 performances in program history at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational on Saturday at the BU Track & Tennis Center.Â
The Eagles had a total of seven athletes competing at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational on Saturday at the BU Track & Tennis Center against some of the top teams in the country.Â
Top Moments of the Meet
- Molly Hudson earned 19th place in the Women's 800m, with a time of 2:05.72. Hudson's time puts her up to fourth all-time in school history.Â
- Hanna Hollins now sits at sixth all-time in school history for the Women's 1000m with her time of 2:48.19. Hollins crossed the finish line at ninth place.Â
- Yasmine Abbes ran to a time of 9:11.95, which puts her at No. 3 all-time for the Women's 3000m.
- Abby Loveys crossed the finish line at 4:39.02, to put herself at No. 8 all-time for the Women's Mile.
Up next: The Eagles will compete at the Terrier DMR Challenge on Feb. 21 at the BU Track & Tennis Center, before ACC Indoor Track & Field Championships.Â
