Rachel Clark Named ACC Offensive Player of the Week

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College lacrosse senior attacker Rachel Clark was named the ACC Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday.

Clark earns her second ACC Player of the Week award with the Eagles, while it's the first weekly award of the season for BC.

The senior is coming off a 12-goal week in two games, where the Eagles outscored their opponents 42-13 through the two victories.

Clark scored a BC career-high seven goals in the 21-7 season-opening win over No. 10 Loyola Maryland on Friday. She followed that up with a five-goal outing against Boston University on Sunday.

The Pennsylvania native is first in the ACC and second in the country in goals and averaging six goals per game. She leads all active players with 217 career goals and third with 264 points

Clark and the Eagles head to Evanston this week to face No. 2 Northwestern in a rematch of last season's national championship at 1 p.m. (ET).
