
Swim and Dive Prepares for Terrier Invite

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – For the second time this season, Boston College swimming will make the short trip to compete at Boston University. The meet will take place this weekend at the FitRec Competition Pool.
The Eagles will compete at the Terrier Invite after facing the Terriers once this season.Â
Competition begins in the morning with prelims, followed by finals during the evening. Prelims will start at 10 a.m. each day of the invitational, while the finals will begin at 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 5 p.m. on Sunday.Â
Diving preliminaries will start at approximately 1 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and diving finals will commence 15 minutes after the conclusion of preliminaries.
The Eagles face Bryant, Fairfield, Massachusetts, Northeastern (women), Army West Point (diving), Babson (diving), and Colgate (diving). The three-day invitational will be available to stream via ESPN+ each night for the finals, while live results will be available on the Meet Mobile app.Â

Last Time Out
The Eagles split with Fordham their last time out, as the men won 199.5-98.5 while the women fell 143-157. BC swept the relays, winning both the 200 medley relay and 400 free. The Eagles recorded 11 individual first-place finishes, with four earning multiple wins.Â
Lucas Bailey, Evan Tack, Sirui Wang, and Elizabeth Oliphant all earned multiple wins. At the same time, Augustas Lapys, Courtney Watts, Allie Donkar, Matt Lang, Palmer Bice, Julienne Saliou, and Luke Amerson were also victorious.Â
Last Season's Terrier Invite
At last year's Terrier Invite, the men's team placed first while the women's team finished fourth. The men compiled 1685.5 points over the three-day invite, while the women's team finished with 1014 points. That weekend saw the Eagles break five school records and earn 38 total personal-best times.Â
