
Women’s Soccer Prepares for Syracuse

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's soccer team is set to hit the road Sunday for an ACC matchup against Syracuse. Kickoff is slated for 12 p.m. at SU Soccer Stadium, with live coverage available on ACCNX.
The Eagles look to bounce back following a 1-0 loss against Louisville, while the Orange enter the weekend coming off a 1-0 win against Miami.
A Look at the Opposition
Syracuse enters the contest at 5-6-4 overall and 1-5-1 in ACC action, fresh off a 1-0 victory at Miami. The Orange attack is powered by junior forward Mia Klammer, who leads the team with seven goals and three assists, while Ashley Rauch has chipped in four goals and four assists. Collectively, Syracuse averages 1.33 goals per game and has recorded five shutouts this fall. In net, senior goalkeeper Shea Vanderbosch has been a mainstay, starting all 15 matches and posting a .796 save percentage with 74 saves.
